I agree, so many necessary improvements but some things I wish they didn't change (aka hot-keys but they are more useful anyway, but will have to getting used to). The new UI is brilliant, it actually makes it seem like you would have to pay for something that good. Anyway I could go on for a while about blender bla bla bla, but it seems like you have already grasped 2.5 very well. I am baffled to how you got the lighting on the balloons looking so real and it is good to see you putting more blender stuff up recently, I have been missing your modeling/animating skills.
