I really like this wallpaper... Minimalistic and appealing. :)

I wonder how do you add that glow sorrounding the robot using The Gimp... Manually, or it is some kind of effect?

I'm kinda new to The Gimp and I haven't found a way to do some things that I do with Photoshop, like the "blending options" of a layer, including the "outer glow".

Well actually I was looking at the Gimp program and thought about getting it to try out in the GIMP 2005 contest and your entries caught my attention the most. Especially the farewell machine. Its just slick.

:relaxed:

What's gimp? Pardon my ignorance, but I have never seen this program before. Sounds cool though. Anyways, I like this better than the green one. Looks more rusty and old and "left behind". You did a great job.

GIMP is primarily an image manipulation program that does all the basic designing like coloring, manip, etc.; anything that relates to digital designing; and better, it can extend into creation of extensive and full-packed designs depending on the artist's idea.

Just like Adobe Photoshop or the like, you can do same designs on GIMP, only with a different environment and layout, and one thing more, you don't have to purchase a copy of it or to extend all your money buying one, it's downloadable from gimp.org. FREE!. Go try it if you want. =D
