Farewell Machine by reynante Farewell Machine by reynante
A situation where old machines would eventually
be a junk of the future, which would most
likely to happen, nevertheless let's never
forget how great minds struggled to do their
part on that innovation, though it might seem
obsolete to some.

I got the concept of that robot thing on
my brother's K-zone magazine, where they've
featured the Globe Gizmo advertisement, thanks
to them. =D
This one took a couple of hours of creation,
just can't find the appropriate matches.

I've created an entry for the-gimp contest
as well. =)

hehe, thats how i was able to get out my drawing block except I drew monsters instead of robots. It was fun. I like it when you don't have to follow any particular rule and just let the pecile or what ever you free to do what it wants.

Yeah, absolutely. I don't really like stickin' out on rules or something, I just wanted to be free and let my mind do the job, where creativity would only be the basis and not conceptual objectives. =D

Wow. You made this with GIMP? Very impressive. I love GIMP but it seems to crash for me too often to be useful these days. Some error with a font it can't load.

He has a very "left outside in the cold and it's raining and I'm lonely and abandoned" look to him which is well shown by his whole body posture. I love him. I'm not sure about green though, I prefer the colouring of the other one :p but still, he's beautiful.

Yup, all with GIMP. That happened several times to me too, especially with its earlier versions, mostly reoccuring on my WinXP system, that's why I do most of my designs on my FreeBSD system to eliminate that crashing, perhaps it's in
the code or maybe in the stability or compatibility with Windows systems.

Try using GIMP 2.2.0 for Win, it might help, it doesn't crash that much.

Thanks btw. =D
